AX Developer (AFS-2009-03-01)

Location:  Torrance, CA

Job Summary:  To provide programming and support for the implementation of the new ERP system.

Essential Duties: 
- Responsible for architecting systems that meet all the functional and performance requirements specified by the Functional Requirements Document;
- Reviews Business Plans and Functional Requirements Documents;
- Involved in Technical Specification Review;
- Produce Technical Specification and System Documentation of assigned projects;
- Explains to developers the Architectural vision of the project;
- Delegates parts of the technical design of assigned projects to developers in conjunction with the Development Manager

Required Qualifications:
- 4-6 years experience working in a corporate IT environment developing software for ERP applications such as Dynamics AX or SAP;
- Good knowledge of the functionality modules in AX;
- SQL Server development and administration experience;
- Previous experience following a given project methodology;
- Good documentation skills, particularly in producing design specs and test scripts;
- Commercial awareness and total dedication to delivering maximum return on investment;
- Self motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a team-based environment;
- Previous object oriented programming experience;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Experience working with relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:
- MSCBMSS certification for AX 4.0 or 2009;
- OLAP/BI/DSS experience;
- SQL Server design skills (MCDBA);
- SQL Reporting Services;
- .NET framework; BizTalk; SharePoint Portal experience;
- Formal training with certification in Dynamics AX development or SQL development is highly desirable.
