Consultant/Storage - Torrance (AFS-2009-04-02)

Location:  Torrance, CA

Job Summary: 

Provide consultative and presales services to our clients and assist other team members and sales staff on developing enterprise solutions consisting of; traditional and virtual backup, server and storage consolidation, virtualization for storage and servers, meeting SLAs on solution engagements, providing quotations and post-sale implementation support.

Required Qualifications: 

Experience in these areas of storage: 

• HP EVA
• HP MSA

 Experience with servers consisting of:

• HP traditional and blade servers

 Experience with these Operating Systems:

• Microsoft
• VMware

 Experience with one of these backup Systems:

• HP
• StorageTek

Experience with one of the Backup Software Systems consisting of:

• Symantec Backup Exec
• Symantec NetBackup

 Have the minimum certifications:

• MSCE 2003
  HP ASE Storageworks
  VMWare VCP

Preferred Qualifications:

·         HP MASE StorageWorks
·         HP AIS Proliant
·         HP XP
·         HP Integrity
·         Redhat

Previous consulting experience and skills required.

Travel Requirements: 

Willing to travel nationally to client sites, potentially 50%
