Technical Services Manager - Memphis (AFS-2009-09-01)
Location: Memphis, TN
Job Summary: Manage the Configuration and Refurbishment process for PC Mall along with technical staff.
Essential Duties: Duties include but are not limited to: overseeing product configuration; product refurbishment; net telecom; desktop services and on-site systems and hardware support; managing vendors, contractors and outside consultants.
Required Qualifications: - familiar with mainframe management information systems - excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and report generation - strong understanding of basic warehouse inventory receiving procedures - self-starter, requiring minimal supervision; must be able to identify problems and to proactively determine possible solutions - good organization skills, good work ethic and a persistent attitude towards getting the job done accurately - ability to handle multiple tasks and 'burst' work loads - knowledge of PBX systems - knowledge of VoIP systems - server integration experience - experience with MS RIS (Microsoft Remote Installation Services) - familiar with Windows OS
Education and Experience level: - 2 year degree or equivalent with a proven record in inventory management - A+ Certification - MCSE preferred - Network+ preferred - receiving experience in a high-volume, varied product environment - persistent, logical, organized and very thorough - capable of organizing large liquidation and shipping activities - production-based environment
