Sr. Field Technician - Charlotte (WF-2009-10-01)
Location: Client Location - Charlotte, NC
This position is responsible for providing both technical and managerial leadership over a small group of technicians within our client facility located in Charlotte. Possess an in-depth understanding of multiple product specific software and operating systems; a) Make appropriate use of technical documentation, specialized test equipment and diagnostic aids in resolving complex technical problems; b) Apply a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem solving and have in-depth mechanical mastery; c) Schedule SARCOM personnel to cover committed hours of service; d) Assign workload to SARCOM personnel; e) Prioritize resource requirements based on current and projected workload; f) Abreast of all requirements, identifying actual and/or potential problems to Maersk; g) Work with Queue Coordinator to flag aging tickets and ensure tickets are resolved as per SLA h) Ensure workflow practices and ticketing policies are followed i) Be first point of escalation for team members on technical issues j) Work with Program Manager to identify/address any process breaks or improvements k) Handle high priority and escalated calls, as well as regular calls based on team workload A+ MCP Remedy Large environment experience (1000+ users) Management/Lead experience required Preferred Qualifications: MCSE
