Sr. Communications Specialist (GOV-2009-09-01)

Location: Columbus, OH or Manassas, VA

Mall Gov, a subsidiary of PC Mall, Inc., has formed Health Dynamix, a dedicated healthcare division to provide IT design, implementation, and change management services to end users in various healthcare markets, including public trust, private, non-profit, and other hospital systems, medical offices and other healthcare providers.

Description:

As senior communications specialist you will be responsible for the ongoing development and design of corporate marketing materials including, but not limited to:

  • Website
  • Multi-media learning and demonstration modules
  • Corporate line cards and presentation materials
  • Customer case studies and testimonials
  • Signage and materials utilized for shows and educational events
  • Division knowledge management of sales and customer facing materials

We are looking for that special candidate who can build a website with multimedia capabilities and has strong graphics design, layout, and web coding experience. This person needs to be comfortable working with technical subject matter and have the ability to take the information given and make it compelling. They will be developing a high end healthcare solutions website.

This position will report directly to the VP and General Manager of the healthcare division and will directly interact and liaise with field sales consultants, pre-sales consultants, corporate marketing, and manufacturer marketing.    The ability to adapt and work on special projects and the development of new startup concepts will be critical for this position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal skills combined with graphic design acumen.  As a key member of the Health Dynamix team this position will be directly impactful to the development and growth of brand, identity, and market share.  Additional responsibilities for buy site and other electronic customer vehicles will be necessary as required. In addition to the above mentioned job requirements the following requirements will favorably position applicants:

  • Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts, Design, Journalism, or equivalent life experience in these fields.
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Detail oriented and task capable
  • Page layout and Web 2.0 tools skills
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Visio
  • Microsoft Word
  • Macromedia Flash MX

Position will be a combination of salary and bonus based on key development projects.
